Throw in the folding brace and the ks12 can store roughly as short. I get that shorter is considered better for CQC, but I’m leaning toward dealing with that extra foot in exchange for better reliability, better accuracy, more flexibility with ammo, and half the price (as I write this the only new Komrads I can find are going for as much as $2k on gun broker, the ks12t is available on the Kalashnikov website for msrp at $850j. Looking into the KS 12t, it seems it’s the same gun with all the same capabilities, it’s just a foot or so longer. The Komrad has lots of feed issues, apparently lighter shot and/or lower velocity ammo don’t do well because of the gas pressure involved with the shorter barrel. I’m learning about these options, and I went to YouTube to watch some videos to learn more. What about a black powder pistol while you’re here? A single shot bolt action rifle? Or a 9mm AR pistol for that matter? Black powder rifle? AR-15 spares? Custom Smith & Wesson? While you’re here, check out some other stuff Is possession allowed by your local authorites? And yes we’re mainly looking at California, New York, New Jersey etc, then transfer and possession isn’t gonna happen either if it isn’t. So if you know the transfer and possession won’t fly at your local gun store, then save yourself the pain of ordering online. You have to fill out the paperwork at your local gun store, pawn shop or otherwise accredited FFL dealer. Just remember that all your local laws apply when you buy guns online. So good luck with the transfer and possession at your local FFL dealer. That’s because your local regs vary wildly, especially in New York, California, New Jersey and a few other restrictive states. We try not to get involved in the legalities of transfer and possession. Yeah you are going to struggle with a lot of these shotguns in California, New York and New Jersey.
